Bursaries By Study Field : Information Technology

The GCR Academy is a branch within Gauteng Department of Education set up to build relevant knowledge, skills and talent in order to reduce the high unemployment rate. One of the key focus areas is in the management of bursaries, learnerships and internships for young people. The bursaries are targeted matriculants from non fee paying schools within Gauteng.

The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program provides ten months of non-degree academic study and related professional experiences in the United States. Humphrey Fellows are selected based on their potential for leadership and their commitment to public service in either the public or the private sector. The Humphrey Program fosters a mutual exchange of knowledge and understanding about issues of common concern in the United States and the Fellows' home countries.

The IDC provide finance for industrial development projects by promoting partnerships across industries within and outside our borders, promoting regional economic growth. The IDC provide bursaries to students who qualify for admission to a University or University of Technology or who are currently studying at a University or University of Technology.

The NITDA was created to implement the Nigerian Information Technology Policy and co-ordinate general IT development in the country. The scholarship for Nigerian Students is a merit based bursary aimed to support students wanting to pursue masters or PhD degree in relevant areas of information Technology (IT) at National and international Universities.

The purpose of the GIT programme is to bring in people who have completed a degree/s and provide work experience through a structured programme that includes intensive training, development and support. To potentially grow them into positions and roles within the organisation, as to fast-track them into the talent pool and ultimately key positions within the organisation.
